Recently, I took a couple of days off to go golfing down in South Carolina. I added an extra vacation day at the tail end of the trip just in case I needed to visit a back/shoulder/neck/leg/arm doctor in case of any golf related injuries (see back surgery 2012).
Fortunately, I had no major injuries, so I had an extra day to loaf around the house before returning back to work.
I decided to spend some time working on another Star Wars painting. I tried to recreate the "Circle of Life" moment from Disney's "Lion King" using Jango and Boba Fett.
It's silly, I know. But, as with my golf game, I'm slowly starting to get a little bit better every time I step up to the tee box/art studio.
For the background, I used a combination of reds and yellows. I used a sponge (from the Dollar Tree) to combine the colors into a sunset looking background.
I sketched in (with charcoal) the characters and painted over using my Craftama Art Paint Brushes on a US Art Supply 8x10 canvas.
