Timers for Elder Scrolls Online

Anyone who is playing Elder Scrolls Online knows how hard it is to juggle every aspect of their character.

One of the areas I wanted my Templar Nord to focus on was blacksmithing. With that, came the impossible task of keeping track of all the research needed to be done to achieve blacksmith mastery.

I found a solution in the Apple App Store. It's called "Timers for Elder Scrolls Online".

Timers is an extremely handy app that helps you keep track of all your research progress for the Clothing, Blacksmithing, and Woodworking trait lines.

Once installed, setup takes a couple of minutes.

In the settings tab (top right hand corner) you can tell the app how many research slots you've unlocked. You can input the current research time reduction that you've unlocked and whether or not you're a ESO Plus Member (small bonus research reduction time).

The "Edit Names" section allows you to put in a character name, but that's only related to the Horse Training Timer (Speed, Carry Capacity, and Stamina).

Clicking on any of the timer buttons opens up a second window in the app.

You can either set the timer on your own or you can pick the exact research using the Item & Trait selection window. Only do this if you've correctly setup your character in the settings tab (otherwise, research times won't be accurate).

If you've already started researching without using this app, click on the Research icon located in the lower right hand portion of the app. This brings up a list of all researchable items in the categories (Light, Medium, & Heavy Armor, weapons, bows, staffs, shields, etc....)

You can choose which areas you've already researched to get the Item & Trait selection window up to speed.

"For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or two, nothing continued to happen."

One of my biggest issues with this app is the incessant ad pop ups. The apps almost cripple the functionality of the app.

I would rather pay a small fee (probably up to $4) to unlock an ad free version of this. Most folks who have reviewed this on the app store agree.

Great app. Horrible ads.

If you can deal with the ads, this app is a must have for anyone playing Elder Scrolls Online.
